Questions

How do painters price an estimate?

Most use either a price per square foot of wall area, a price per room, or hours × rate plus materials. Use the hourly rate calculator to check that your number covers overhead and taxes.

Should paint be a separate line?

Yes. It makes the estimate easier to compare and lets you apply sales tax only to the materials where your state requires it.

Can I add my logo?

On Pro ($12/month) your logo and brand color go on every estimate and invoice, with no LedgerLocal watermark.
